Aquamarine - March's Birthstone

Aquamarine is March’s birthstone. Did you know that this beautiful stones are also found in NIGERIA. Aren’t we blessed or what?

The name aquamarine was derived by the Romans, “aqua,” meaning water, and “mare,” meaning sea, because it looked like sea water.

The blue of aquamarine is a divine, eternal colour, because it is the colour of the sky. However, aquamarine blue is also the colour of water with its life-giving force. The serene color of aquamarine is said to cool the temper, allowing the wearer to remain calm and levelheaded. Its light blue arouses feelings of sympathy, trust, harmony and friendship. Fashion and Lifestyle

The Aquamarine hue makes for such a beautiful accent to spring and summer wardrobes. Now what can be worn with this hue? Let’s get creative... From research over the past few days Aqua – peach – coral make for the perfect summer palette. It’s such a pretty palette and I’m completely in love. You can consider using this palette for your wedding colors or bridal shower. Of course you can go a shade lighter or darker using turquoise and coral. I wouldn’t go all the way to Deep Blue and Pink, the lighter shades makes for a better balance and harmony of both feminine and masculine colors. Of course I had made the perfect statement jewelry piece, the turquoise and coral earrings - such a perfect match.
